Attention Parents and Students!

Please note: all students are required to communicate with me when a quiz or test is missed due to an absence. A make-up time will be arranged on an individual basis. For the student’s benefit, I recommend you contact me before the scheduled date of the assessment because scheduling may be easier the sooner we address a pending absence.

This link will take you to an excel spreadsheet that will allow you to take your averages for either fall or spring semester and see what you need for the grading period or final to pass class. This is designed for the grading cycles at McNeil High School.

Note on TI 83-84 Graphing Calculators: Students will need to have a Texas Instruments graphing calculator this year. Many of the assignments will need one for proper completion. There are free TI calculator apps available for download on cell phones, calculators also may be purchased at any office supply store or large discount store. Lastly, I have heard that you can sometimes find them at the Goodwill for cheap! Make sure it works before you make a purchase or that it may be returned if it does not work. Please see the parent letter for further explanation as to calculator requirements, if you are considering a purchase. Also, feel free to contact me with questions.
